A.P.C. x Aesop ???

High end hipster skin care brand Aesop's latest product has gotten me startled, confused, made me question the integrity of the industry and put a massive grin on my face.
Aptly named the "Post-Poo Drops", the formulation is tagged to be 'An aromatic, botanical formulation to combat the malodorous' ejections. I guess they would be perfect for those overcrowded holiday trips or for those with contentious diets.

I congratulate A.P.C. and Aesop for bringing some humour into such a bland industry.
For those interested, it can be found at the Aesop website

Not Really Everything Camera

As my first foray into photography, I got myself a Nikon D5100 to play with. So what naturally follows is the urge to find pieces and accessories to compliment the purchase rather than actually learning to use it.
What I found was Photojojo. It has a bunch of stuff camera related (but not really useful) paraphernalia such as mugs in the shape of lenses, mini hangers to display your printed photos and the like.

Quirky and fun.

Edit: Just saw this Clip and want it soooo bad.

Hush by Freyja Sewell

With the development of hi-tech pods and booths for employees and travellers to hide and sleep, Hush takes a more comfortable approach. Here, there are no futuristic curves and cold colour schemes, it looks comforting, inviting and nothing too drastic.

Perhaps a small led clamp or loop would add a bit more functionality, because I would love to curl up away from the world just to read a good book.

Travelling Dopp Kits

Invented in 1919 by German Charles Doppelt, the Dopp bag has become an essential part of any luggage bag. Crammed full with creams, ointments, toothpaste and shampoo, the bag should be durable, waterproof and hopefully look pretty sweet.
I've been on the hunt for a new one for my next trip.

Here's a few that I thought fit the part.

Jack Spade: A modern take

Filson: Classic approach

Waking up with  UNIQLO

Just got an app called Uniqlo Wake Up which is looking to bring a more pleasant start to your day. The alarm music (composed by Keigo Oyamada and Yoko Kanno) changes based upon your phone's detection of the local weather, the time and day of the week, as well as telling you those exact details.
Just gave it a trial and I can't wait to wake up to this tomorrow morning.

New Comme des GARÇONS shop opens in Tokyo

Japanese designer clothing brand headed by designer Rei Kawakubo and personal favourite Junya Watanabe, allows it's Genius to seep through everything it does.

Their new shop in Tokyo boasts a majestic instalment by Coudamy Design, which they've dubbed Fantastique Canopée , featuring a tree trunk created from 9,715 planks of wood. The piece runs from like pillar from floor to ceiling, then proceeds to branch out across the room.

With a personal obsession for all things made/carved/resembling wood (as you can tell by my blog background), I wouldn't mind getting a similar to piece in my room ... and all the clothes in my wardrobe.

360 Panoramas

I came across an interesting set of shots by Randy Scott Slavin on the train today.

This type of thing has been done before, but these somehow offer something different. I haven't quite put on my finger on what it is yet, perhaps it's the palate of colours or the choice of landscape. I have to admit that looking at them makes me a little queasy, since my mind can't seem to figure out a 3D panorama shot stitched into a conical dimension, but I can't seem to take my eyes off of them.
